Learn three strategies that you can implement right away to increase your drop ship sales.


1. Sell drop ship products on both eBay and your own website.

Forget that one or the other nonsense. Don’t waste valuable advertising exposure by selling on only one medium. Savvy sellers know that not only is eBay the perfect place to sell drop ship products; it is also the best way to drive traffic to your own website.

Use your eBay “About Me” page to brand your business and direct buyers to your web store. Give customers a reason to check out your website, such as wider product selection, special promotions, and other value-added incentives.

Traditional marketing is expensive. Online marketing, on the other hand, is cost-effective especially when you take into consideration how low eBay fees are and how far eBay sales reach. Your eBay listings have the potential to reach millions of shoppers every single day. Where else can you get that kind of exposure for such a low fee?

2. List more of the same products in different selling formats.

Some buyers want products now. Either they don’t enjoy the bidding game, or they happen to need the product in a timely manner. Capitalize on convenience sales by listing multiple products in different selling formats. For example, let’s say you sell the “XYZ Digital Camera” on a regular basis. To cash in on timely sales, you can list several XYZ cameras. List some of the cameras in auction-style format with low starting prices. Be sure to stagger the ending dates to receive higher ending bids. List other XYZ Digital Cameras in Buy-It-Now listings with slightly higher than expected prices. Rather than having to wait for an auction to end, many sellers will choose to buy the item now. Most sellers will a pay reasonably higher price to avoid the wait-and-see game that auctions create.


3. Carry a wider variety of products than your competitors.

Drop shipping provides so many amazing benefits to sellers. One of my personal favorites is the no financial risk benefit: if a product doesn’t sell, you don’t buy it. Think about what that really means… You can sell any product you choose even high-end, big ticket items with no financial risk! Why not sell flat screen TVs, laptops, desktop computers, digital cameras, and other expensive items? There is literally no reason not to. These types of products are in demand. Customers are ready and willing to buy them. You don’t have to pre-buy, stock, and store the products. You don’t even have to package and ship orders. All you have to do is sell the products to earn amazing profits!

The great thing is that you don’t have to stop at electronics. Why not sell fragrances too? Both men’s and women’s fragrances are hot sellers year round! Drop shipping enables you to sell in as many niche (specialized) markets as you choose. Wider product variety means increased sales. You list products now, so how much harder would it be to list more products? Listing products really isn’t difficult, so why not sell more today?
